Long Term, Intervention is Golden

Thank author of this post/commentGold and silver prices fell about 1% and 2% respectively on Monday after what was described as " an extremely large intervention " by Japan that sent the yen to its lowest level in three years against the U.S. dollar. But Commerzbank is of the opinion that gold "will be able to resume its upward trend after the correction," reasoning that "Confidence in the world's major currencies should drop further accordingly and gold should remain in strong demand as an alternative currency." That's.
