| China Set to Cut Silver Exports In a move that analysts say could boost silver prices, China is expected to cut silver exports by 5% in 2012 , a drop of 283 tons from the 5,670 tons sent abroad in 2011, reports Mineweb. It quotes a Mumbai silver dealer predicting that "With the commerce ministry in China restricting silver exports, it would create a highly volatile situation in the global market."
