Thank author of this post/comment23-Nov (The Wall Street Journal) - Germany maintained its opposition to common euro-zone bonds Wednesday as the European Union's executive arm announced a reform package that includes the issuance of euro bonds along with new powers to intervene in national budgets. The European Commission's proposal to introduce common bonds in the euro zone comes at an inappropriate time, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said just before the announcement was made. She insisted that first the treaty governing.
